Description
The mapping appraised the child protection and contextual data currently available in Scotland to identify existing data strengths, opportunities to further analysis of existing data sources, and gaps in the data. Particular attention was paid to: the interface between current child protection data and (i) preventative / wellbeing ‘Getting It Right For Every Child [GIRFEC]’ or contextual data; and (ii) child outcomes data; the potential for deeper analysis of existing data sources and indicators; and the potential for data linkage exercises.
