International online student activity: Teaching Across Borders (Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary, Canada)

Given the wider impact of the Covid pandemic, I have drawn upon the contacts of SoE colleagues to look for worthwhile online enhancements. In recent discussions, with Werklund University, Canada, I have negotiated the opportunity for some of our BAPE year 3 students to take part in its ‘Teaching across Boundaries’ programme from session 2022-23 onwards. Students from various international partners will be able to come together to raise awareness of cultural issues, and culturally sensitive pedagogies from both a theoretical and practice base.
