Description

This project is a progression of the DCSC-funded Student Learning Footprint Datamart, Project. The delivered DataMart integrates micro-level data from university systems that contribute to and characterise the student learning footprint to provide the robust and sustainable institutional infrastructure to underpin the provision of a learning analytics system. This project will directly support e-FIRST (education – Future Innovation and Reflection on Strathclyde's Teaching), which builds on the Start of the Academic Year (SotAY) process at Faculty University-wide levels. This follow-on project will extend the DataMart and deliver Student Engagement and Strathclyde Student Insight dashboards to understand and analyse students' engagement and learning behaviours and the associated implications for staff and their teaching practice.
