Project Details

Description

As recently rapid advances in image sensors and microscopy technologies, image data are usually humongous making image analysis a painstaking task. Without fast analysis strategies, fast acquisition systems cannot make real impact in biomedical or clinical research. This project aims to use the latest graphics processing units for fast fluorescence lifetime imaging.

This project is jointly supported by nVIDIA and China Scholarship Council. The research outcomes have led to a successful bid for the nVIDIA 2016 Graduate Fellowship ($25,000) awarded to the PhD student Gang Wu (University of Strathclyde/University of Sussex.
