Project: Non-funded project

Project Details

Description

To contribute to the Strathclyde 2030 Distinctive Strathclyde vision of creating student led approaches to digital innovation, I am currently working collaboratively with Dr Stavros Nikou to develop a digitally innovative approach to outstanding Education & Student Experience. To support students in accessing the vast amount of material in the programme handbooks, a chatbot is being developed which will be trained with course material provided by tutors. By offering immediate, accurate and personalised feedback and flexible learning opportunities, the chatbot, used as a ‘study buddy’, is expected to enhance the student experience and this is something that will be further investigated through our research. The project not only aligns with the Strathclyde commitment to innovation and high-quality online learning but fosters a research culture that embraces innovation in pedagogy, particularly around the use of AI in education.
