Description
A combination of traditional fields such as electronics, engineering, physics and biology has resulted in the evolution of the highly impactful field of biomedical optics and biophotonics. With this evolution, undergraduate and graduate students must be exposed to such fields early to give them the best opportunity and inspiration to become future research leaders and technology innovators. With this motivation and within this project, we are designing a training program for undergraduate students focused on the applications of light in medical diagnostics and therapeutics, leveraging current and effective engineering education methods.
