Co-organising (together with colleagues Dr Erin Jessee and Dr Catherine Baker) a first, pilot-study Oral History workshop on ‘Democratizing History in Central and Eastern Europe’ to be held at the Scottish Oral History Centre in September 2015. The workshop will bring together scholars, oral history practitioners and interested parties from around the world to focus on problems relating to the undertaking and dissemination of research in conflict and post-conflict settings in Eastern and Central Europe. Online publication of papers, creation of associated website and edited volume (to be published by Palgrave, ideally in the Oral History series) to follow.
