Layman's description

This project revisits the indigenous and riverine communities of Brazil’s
Amazon that engaged with our GCRF Covid related project in
May-July 2020. It does with greater urgency given the rapidly
deteriorating situation across the dimensions of (a) pandemic, (b) food
insecurity and (c) violent land invasions; but also, importantly, with
determined medium and longer term intervention made possible by the
sustained engagement with our academic partners in Para state1
and their arguably unique relations with community representatives and insitu researchers that make delivery feasible.
