Project Details

Description

This project researches the impact of future developments in the GB electricity system on security of supply of electricity in Scotland. We are researching the likely engineering impacts of Scottish, UK and European policy on the planning and operation of the electricity system in Scotland, and its interaction with other parts of the wider energy system.

This work is sponsored by the Scottish Government through ClimateXChange and we will deliver outputs that help inform policy making at Scottish and UK level. It is one of four fellowships awarded in 2014 to study aspects of the Scottish energy system.
