Ciências do Mar 2: Emerging Technologies for Offshore Oil Exploration

Contributed to a national initiative focused on expanding distance education (EaD) and capacity-building in naval and ocean engineering across Brazil. The project supported the development and delivery of specialised online courses, scientific outreach, and technical content for partner universities in under-resourced regions. Activities were coordinated by UFRJ through DENO/PEnO, leveraging facilities such as LabOceano and the Subsea Technology Laboratory (LTS), with strong emphasis on applied research, collaboration with industry, and human resource development for the offshore oil and gas sector.
