Project Details
Description
Partial discharge is normally measured in pico-coulomb (pC) according to the internationally recognised IEC 60270 standard. UHF sensors measures the energy releases by the PD activities. The objective of this project is to establish a link between these two different PD measuring techniques. The industrial partner uses the output from this project to present the UHF signal in a format that is easy for engineers in the utility companies to understand and interpret for diagnosis purpose.
