Layman's description

Dr Petya Eckler and Dr Andrea Tonner lead an expert working group on body image, eating disorders and digital media. This group consists of academics, clinicians and third-sector professionals from institutions including Queens University Belfast, Aberystwyth University, Mental Health Foundation, Scottish Mental Health Research Network, NHS GGC & Lothian, and Beat charity. It has developed a research agenda which is in preparation for submission to ‘Body Image’ (IF 2.962) and the collaborators are preparing funding applications for future research considering the use of digital media in the recovery process of eating disorders.Students working within this project:Mrs Anke Kleim -The Digitised Beach Body2 AHRC Aligned MRES studentships on Digital Selves.
