Description

This project estimated the bandwidth required to meet the Distributed Network Operators (DNOs’) requirements to deploy private radio technologies for monitoring and control functions in secondary substations. The overhead traffic required in each secondary substation was computed based on IEC 62870-05-104 protocol taking into consideration the TLS and IPSec compliance with IEC62351, plus any extra layers of security and relevant industry consultations
