Layman's description
Combining advanced data analytics research carried out at the University of Strathclyde with the expertise of the industrial collaborator in the environmental monitoring sector, state of the art computer vision and machine learning techniques will be applied to real-world samples to address difficult analytical challenges in imaging and object characterisation. The ultimate objective is development of an automated analytical tool to detect and characterise fibrous contaminants.
