• Machining of conventional demonstrator part from purchased material
• Machining of incremental demonstrator part from existing radially forged component
• Data capture of manufacturing processes
• Assessment and review of the difference in energy consumption, material use, and CO2 equivalent emissions
• Creation of a standard process document for assessing carbon and energy at NMIS
• Proposal of future follow-on projects aligned and possible co-funded with work elsewhere in the Catapult network
