Description
Novel methods to protect operators from the extreme heat generated nearby superplastic forming (SPF) presses were researched. The investigation included engagement with industry, attendance to international conferences, a study on high insulation materials and fabrics and the comparison and down-selection of potential alternatives to the current PPE used in industry.
