A feasibility study of nitrogen detection using remote sensor in collaboration with AgriRover

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Data analysis of soil fertility through nitrogen level estimation for in-situ & satellite correlation mapping algorithms for effective plant health monitoring. Evaluation and integration of these analyses into an integrated model and information platform on crop growth and pest and diseases.

Layman's description

This feasibility study aims to demonstrate a new sensing method of soil nitrogen, caliberated nad supported by a robotic system AgriRover.

Key findings

Hyperspectral imaging results show some promising results that it is feasible to use this technology for soil nitrogen sensing.
