Emmanuel was awarded the prestigious University Prize for the Overall Best Graduating Student having achieved the highest CGPA for the 2007/2008 graduating class. He also won respective prizes for being the the first student to ever graduate with a first class grade from the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering (after 20 years of existence of the department), and was also the best graduating student in the College of Engineering.
