The MISI Most Innovative Idea Award recognizes the contributions of a research effort that are most likely to innovate the maritime supply chain domain. The winner is expected to introduce a novel idea, model or application that is underpinned by sound theoretical foundation and backed by rigorous research and analyses. 1,000 USD Prize is sponsored by MISI.The joint study of Ismail Kurt, Murat Aymelek, Evangelos Boulougouris and Osman Turan with the paper title "A container transport network analysis study on the offshore port system case of West North America coast" is awarded with the 1,000 USD prize at the IAME 2015 Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
