For my review activities in "Superconductor Science and Technology" journal: IOP trusted reviewer status award is designed to recognize the very best peer reviewers in the physical sciences. Evidently, only the top 15% of reviewers will achieve this recognition. The IOP trusted reviewer status award since it acknowledges that the reviewer has demonstrated a high level of peer review competence, with the ability to critique scientific literature to an excellent standard. Apparently, a five-star review remarks is needed which should be exceptionally detailed and adds valuable insight when informing the Editor’s decision.
