Supervisor to 4 students who won an Institute of Engineering Designers Group Prize in 2011. Only 4 such awards are made each year to student teams throughout UK. The quality of DMEM submissions has risen annually and DMEM has had students winning prizes for the last 4 years under Dr. Grierson's guidance.
