IAA project “Assessment of flood defense embankments using Geophysics” shortlisted by "the Engineer, collaborate to innovate” national competition final 2016 (sponsored by EPSRC).

This shortlisted project came under the Award Final category of ‘Safety & Security.’ The University of Strathclyde was the main partner involved in this outreach project, together with the following collaborating partners: East Ayrshire Council; West Dumbartonshire Council; Environment Agency; Highlands Council; Parsons Brinkerhoff. There was strong competition in the final and entries were judged against set criteria by a panel of judges drawn from the highest levels of industry.
