For the past 13 years, L'Oréal UKI and UNESCO UK have annually awarded 5 Fellowships worth £15,000 to early career researchers. The Fellowships are designed to provide flexible and practical financial support for the winners to further their research and careers.This year edition had over 180 entries. Top 10 candidates were selected for the interview in five categories: Life sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Engineering and Sustainable Science. My entry was in Physical Sciences and the project was : Understanding of fundamentals of crystallisation for more affordable drugs.
