FRCR

Prize: National/international honour

Description

Honorary Fellowship is the most prestigious award available to a non-Fellow of the Royal College of Radiology(RCR) and as such will be awarded to non-Fellows of the College who have made exceptional contributions to, or promoted the interests of, clinical oncology or clinical radiology, anywhere in the world.
Honorary Fellowship is intended to recognise work which has furthered the development of imaging (including image-guided intervention) or oncology for the ultimate benefit of patients. This might be through, for example, research, development of new technologies and techniques, service improvements, education or public health – but this list is not exhaustive.
I was awarded with FRCR fellowship in recognition for my exceptional contribution to cancer care, especially in the sarcomas, through research, quality improvement and clinical inovations.
