Personal Statement
I recently joined the Work, Employment and Organisation as a researcher from the University of Stirling, where I work as an academician and received my PhD. Prior joining higher education, I work in a quasi-government organisation as Training and Development Officer in Malaysia. I am a pragmatic researcher with an interdisciplinary background through my doctorial work, research projects and work experience. My work focuses on collaborative relationship and Triple-Helix studies (university-industry-government) in developing countries, where this complex and dynamic relationship is crucial when come to address societal and economic challenge. Much of my work is in the field of regional studies, innovation system, social space dimension, ethics and responsible business, employability and entrepreneurship which mostly involve the systematic approaches to management decision making. My new research interest is in relation to workers right in developing countries which I am currently working on a project under the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) in collaboration with international partners in Mauritius. I welcome any collaborative work opportunity and happy to share my experience and expertise. Other than work, I have great passion in cookery and enjoys travel to places with historical landmarks.
