Personal Statement
Yolanda's research focuses on how a large, complex organisation sustain its competitive standing while exploring new opportunities to provide valuable insights for corporate renewal. Yolanda seeks to examine manifestations of entrepreneurial endeavours with a strategic perspective, illustrating the company's strategic intent to pursue unforeseen opportunities and build a strong capacity for innovation.
Having nearly twenty years of experience as a Human Resource Executive in well-established organisations in the Banking sector, Yolanda has also collaborated with entrepreneurs of small-medium enterprises as a qualified coach in their endeavours to grow. She set out this research to investigate if an entrepreneurial dominant logic is a "mission impossible" for a large organisation or an opportunity at times of adversity.
Yolanda has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, a Master's in Human Resource Management and a Master of Research in Research Methodology in Business & Management. She is a qualified assessor for Assessment Centres, a Global Career Development Facilitator, and holds a CIPD and an Association for Coaching membership. She advocates Montessori philosophy and voluntarily collaborates as a Steps Ahead and a Career Ready Mentor. As an Enterprise Adviser, she strategically supports educational organisations' senior leadership teams to evaluate and develop young people's career prospects.
