Personal Statement

Yolanda's research focuses on the Entrepreneurial Mindset in large, established, multinational corporations. The project's interest is unlocking the entrepreneurial potential through inclusive global talent strategies to create a corporate environment in which the workforce is inspired to innovate, manage with creativity and achieve the balance of exploration and exploitation.

Having nearly twenty years of experience as a Human Resource Executive in well-established organisations in the Banking sector, Yolanda has also collaborated with entrepreneurs of small-medium enterprises, as a qualified coach, in their endeavours to grow. She set out this research to investigate if an Entrepreneurial Mindset is a "mission impossible" for a large organisation or an opportunity at times of adversity.

Yolanda has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management. She is a qualified assessor for Assessment Centres, a Global Career Development Facilitator, and holds a CIPD and an Association for Coaching membership. She is an advocate of Montessori philosophy and voluntarily collaborates as a Steps Ahead and a Career Ready Mentor. As an Enterprise Adviser she supports the senior leadership team of educational organisations strategically to develop and evaluate their careers plan.
