Personal profile
Personal Statement
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. My supervisors are Dr Jonathan Norris and Dr Otto Lenhart. My research interests lie primarily in the areas of health economics, applied microeconomics and public health development.
My doctoral proposal is titled "The Determinants of Health Inequality”. My current work focuses on examining the long-term impacts of local exposure to conflicts on future health outcomes, with the idea that post-conflict development can negate the negative impacts of conflict. Additionally, I am involved in a separate research project that examines the intergenerational impacts of family planning policies on children's health in the long term.
