Taimur Zaman is a Ph.D. student in Dynamic Power System Laboratory (DPSL) at the University of Strathclyde. He is currently working on Event Identification & Mitigation in Distributed Power System using Data-Drive methods.

He has overall 05 years of experience in both academia and industries. Previously, he has been working in the Research & Development sector of the Renewable Energy Industry where solutions for Green Energy via efficient power converters have been the main focus. His research expertise includes the design of Power Converters, Closed-Loop Control of Grid-Integrated VSC, Fault-tolerant & Transients stability in Power Systems.
