The main focus is investigating the nucleation process under high pressure condition using active pharmaceutical ingredients. This includes the crystallography, crystallization, kinetic and thermodynamic as fundamental areas.
Suse S. Bebiano graduated from the University of Coimbra in the group of Thermodynamic and Solution. Her research project was focus on study of cyclohexanediol isomers using thermal and structural analyses and computational calculation with Teresa Estronca and Mario Rosado as supervisors. During two years, she worked in heterogenic catalysis in Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon. In 2015, she returned to the area of crystallization studying the nucleation process of pharmaceutical materials at high pressure as part of her PhD project
