Personal profile

Personal Statement

I am a goal-driven and innovative research and development engineering professional with over nine (10) years of relevant experience in electrical and electronic engineering. Working knowledge cut across digital signal processing, cyber security, communication network, data analytics, network security, industrial Internet of things and operational technology frameworks. As an RD Engineer within the communication and cyber security innovation theme at PNDC, I collaborate with PNDC industrial partners like SPEN, UKPN, and SSEN to deliver high-value projects in the energy sector. While part of my role involves accelerating innovation and delivering real-world projects with impacts, I also ensure that they satisfy the sustainable energy network of the future, which must be resilient, reliable and secure.

Research Interests

My main research interest is the security and privacy of the emerging Internet of Things; Sensor Networks; Telecommunication Networks; Smart Grid and Digital Signal Processing. I am also interested in Incidence Response and Situation Awareness.

I am on the lookout to collaborate with companies and research/academic institutions.
