Personal Statement
Stacy is a Postgraduate Researcher in Finance at the Strathclyde Business School (SBS), University of Strathclyde. He holds an MSc in Investment and Finance with Distinction obtained from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Malawi. Stacy is also a chartered accountant and a member of the ACCA. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he worked in advisory, audit and assurance services during his tenure at Deloitte and EY.
He is an excellent scholar who has received the SBS Excellence Award and the prestigious Beit Trust Scholarship among other accolades.
Research Interests
Stacy's research interests are corporate finance, asset pricing, sustainable finance and geopolitics. His research agenda focuses on evaluating how corporations attain sustainable market and firm performance when faced with structural shocks.
