Personal profile
Personal Statement
I am a Chancellor’s Fellow in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. My research predominantly focuses on innovation/entrepreneurship in and from emerging markets. I am co-lead for the doctoral training centre in Socially Progressive Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde, and am also a part of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) UK team.
I completed my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. This research, which was supported by Strategic Management Society's (SMS) Strategic Research Foundation (SRF) dissertation fellowship, explored the role of institutional context in social entrepreneurship. Before joining Strathclyde, I was a visiting research fellow at the University of Liverpool Management School.

My research interests are around the role of institutional factors on entrepreneurship and innovation. In terms of context for my research, I focus either on emerging markets or consider cross-country comparisons.
