Personal Statement

I am a PhD student in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering department at the University of Strathclyde.
My research within the Centre for White Space Communications renamed StrathSDR, is focused on developing Rural Broadband solutions, explicitly looking at 5G, network slicing, neutral host networks (NHN), dynamic and shared spectrum technologies, and techno-economic feasibility, business models for rural connectivity and software Defined Radio. The research also analyses the strategies in decision-making regarding the acceptance of 5G NHN in rural areas by stakeholders and pricing models. I am also a Visiting Researcher at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India and a Visiting Faculty at George Mason University, Virginia, USA.

I also contribute toward policy making and standardisation of rural 5G broadband networks and 5G private networks.
