Personal Statement
Seyma Vahap studied Economics at Istanbul University and received masters degrees in Economics from the University of Essex in 2012 and Queen Mary, University of London in 2015. Currently she is a PhD candidate in the department of economics, University of Strathclyde and a PhD affiliate with the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics. Her research focuses on Bayesian methods in high dimensional state space models.
