Personal Statement

I am the Academic Development lead for learning and teaching in the Organisational and Staff Development Unit (OSDU) at Strathclyde. Within this role, I lead our Strathclyde Teaching Excellence Programme (STEP), Micro-CPD and pathways to professional recognition through Advance HE Fellowships. I am also the Programme Director of our PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. My research interests include staff peer-support networks, inclusive approaches to curriculum development, leadership in learning and teaching, and compassionate pedagogies. In addition to my own scholarship, I lead a number of collaboratives projects and staff development initiatives with colleagues in China and the Middle East.
