Research Interests
I am working towards my PhD as part of the HearLight project, a collaboration of 6 European universities investigating cortical implants towards the next generation of prosthetic devices for hearing restoration.
My work focusses on the integration of μLED (micro light emitting diode) devices for use in in-vivo experiments in the mouse auditory cortex. I also speicalise in FPGA (field programmable gate array) design enabling real-time closed-loop control of cortical stimulation patterns from an audio signal.
