Personal Statement

Robert is a Tutor in Accounting and Finance (with teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate MSc, MBA, and Executive MBA education levels) and a PGR at Strathclyde Business School (SBS), University of Strathclyde. He joined SBS as a Doctoral Researcher in October 2021, before commencing teaching activities in September 2022. Prior to commencing his Doctoral studies, Robert obtained a First Class BAcc (Hons) and an MSc degree with Distinction (as well as being the top performing student in his MSc programme), both in Accounting and Finance, as well as a PG Cert in Research Methodology. 

At present, Robert is also employed as a Research Assistant within the accounting and finance department.

Currently researching within the areas of venture capital, private equity, hedge funds and hedge fund activism, IPOs, employee wellbeing, corporate governance, misconduct etc.
