Research Interests

The investigation of Large stepdown/stepup converters initially for water desalination applications with a voltage ratio of around 600V:1V. The research includes converters for both AC and DC sources giving a DC output. A subsection of the converter topology has been the investigation of various snubber topologies to maximise efficiency and proformance of the large ratio converters. The research is investigating the potential of Capacitive Deionisation for water desalination applications.
