Personal profile

Personal Statement

I am a first year PhD student at the University of Strathclyde, supervised by Professor Louise Nicholls and Professor Mario Parra Rodriguez. My project is an investigation of young and older adults' strategies during age-sensitive visual working memory.

Research Interests

My research interest is in cognitive ageing, specifically how visual short-term ('working') memory is affected by age. I am also interested in the strategies young and older adults use to try to remember visual information and the potential for strategy training to boost capacity.
