Personal Statement

David is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Signal and Image Processing, and is in the final stages of his PhD on hyperspectral imaging for microbiological applications. He has an MEng in Computer and Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde. His interests lie in developing machine learning tools for hyperspectral data analysis, and his research spans a range of hyperspectral applications, including in the space and nuclear industries.
