Personal Statement
Rajat Jain is a PhD student in Banking at the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Strathclyde. He is the Recipient of the University Research Excellence Award (REA) Studentship to work on “ESG-tied executive compensation and sustainable lending strategies: Evidence from European banking”.
He has obtained his master's in finance and investment from the University of Exeter (UK). He also holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in economics from SMVD University (India).
Rajat’s research interest covers the areas of European banking, financial intermediaries & markets, Empirical banking, Corporate Governance and ESG Investing.
