Personal Statement

I am a research associate in asset integrity management (AIM) at the University of Strathclyde Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering (NAOME) department. He is an expert in fatigue and fracture integrity management and structural reliability assessment. I am a member of the committee that develops and maintains BS7910 (UK flaw assessment procedure). I have experience in developing bespoke Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) frameworks, structural assessment, and integrity management of offshore platforms. During my PhD research, Peyman worked within TWI Ltd’s Risk and Reliability team where I led a project, funded by Lloyds Register, to develop an RBI framework for optimising NDT inspection of newbuilding ships
