Personal Statement

I completed my MSc degree in Engineering Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, Portugal) and earned my PhD in Physics/ Photonics from University of Strathclyde (UK). Currently, my focus area of research at the Institute of Photonics includes:

- Self-assembly of nanocrystals into supraparticles, for laser applications;

- Supraparticles and their applications in integrated photonics, communication, biosensing and photocatalysis.
