Personal Statement

I am Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde, Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management. I graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2015 following the stream of Industrial Management and Operational Research. During my MEng studies, I gained deep knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, logistics, project management, production control, operational research and optimisation by attending the industrial engineering curriculum.

My research focuses on systems modelling, optimisation, supporting decisions, sustainability of energy systems and pursuing energy systems life cycle cost and environmental impact improvement. Additionally gained experience in the investigation of alternative technologies to meet the ship energy systems current and future air emission regulations requirements.
