Personal Statement

I am Research Associate at Maritime Safety Research Centre (MSRC) of the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. I graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2015 following the stream of Industrial Management and Operational Research. I obtained a PhD at the University of Strathclyde, Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management in 2019 in the discipline of  marine energy systems sustainable design.

My research focuses on systems modelling, optimisation, supporting decisions, sustainability of energy systems, pursuing energy systems life cycle cost and environmental impact improvement and circular economy. Additionally gained experience in reverse supply networks design of composite products.
