Personal Statement
I am a member of teaching staff in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering. I graduated with a MSci (Hons) in Physics from the University of Glasgow and subsequently completed a PGCE at the University of Strathclyde and have 7 year’s experience teaching Physics in a secondary school. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Teaching Interests
- Digital electronics and analogue circuit analysis
- Laboratory practice and techniques, circuit design and analysis, links to theory
- Supporting personal development in the transition from school/college to university
- Use of online tools like myplace to support teaching, learning, assessment and feedback
