I started my doctoral studies at the University of Strathclyde in October 2017. At the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid (Spain), I completed a BA in English Studies and a Master’s in Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language. Currently, I am also a Spanish teacher at the University of Strathclyde.
My main areas of research are translation, feminism and Scottish literature in the early 20th century. I am particularly interested in the peculiarities involved in the translation of gender into Spanish. Other research interests include travel literature, Spanish literature and the teaching of Spanish as a second language. Additionally, I am an English, Spanish and Italian translator and reviewer.
