Personal profile
Personal Statement
My primary research focuses on the diffusion of innovation within the cultural and scientific heritage sectors. I explore how the successful adoption of innovation relies on the timely upskilling of professionals and the continuous enhancement of users' information skills. In this context, I have contributed to EC-commissioned technology watch reports and coordinated research on user needs and behaviours in the digital heritage domain. Additionally, I led innovative research on media and information literacy, with a particular focus on the societal impacts of misinformation and disinformation and most recently added to my portfolio capacity building on decolonisation in GLAMs and the role of information as potentiality.
