Megan (Meg) Clapperton graduated in 2020 from the University of Strathclyde with an MPhys in Physics with specialisation in nanoscience. During her time at undergraduate she completed a year abroad studying at the Hong Kong Institute for Science and Technology (HKUST). In 2020 she joined the Centre for Biophotonics group as a PhD student investigating the role of biofilm spatial structure and distribution in tonsillitis using the Mesolens under the supervision of Professor Gail McConnell, Professor Paul Hoskisson and Ms Catriona Douglas.
