Personal Statement

I finished my Ph.D in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid where I studied liposomes, and their interactions with different polymers.

I was working for 4 years in the department of R & D technology center LEITAT where I participated in national, european and industrial projects. I was manager of the specialized group in plasma technology and encapsulation by spray-drying, polymerization, coacervation, and others.

In 2018 I started the KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) project in Glasgow where AB Vista and the University of Strathclyde are involved for two years. The aim of the project is the development of novel nano-delivery systems incorporating bio-active lipids and peptides in animal food formulation with effective antimicrobial stewardship to reduce antibiotic resistance in the food chain without compromising animal welfare.
