Research Interests

Current research activities focus on 

Composites recycling and reuse (This work includes the development of economically viable routes to recycling fibre reinforced composites and reusing recyclates in new industrial applications) 

Composites interface (This work centres around fibre-matrix physicochemcial interactions through surface characterisation, coating development, and fibre-matrix adhesion engineering)

Aerogel composites (This work includes the design and development of ultralight, strong, superinsulating aerogel composites for energy saving applicaitons)

Self-healing elastomer  (This work centres on the chemical design and material engineering of elastomer materials for improving wear resistance and damage self-mitigation)

Multi-scale material modelling (This work revolves around understanding and engineering of structure-property relationship through multi-scale material modelling)
